Vance joined the British Army in April 1996 and served his country for 23 years on numerous operational tours including Northern Ireland, Afghanistan and Iraq. A dedicated and passionate soldier he has lived his life following high values and standards; courage, discipline, integrity, loyalty and respect for others. Vance achieved the rank of Sergeant Major, proving himself to be hard working and ambitious. He has received many awards over the years, incuding a Generals Commendation, in recognition for his work ethic and dedication to helping others. He has been, and will continue to be a Charity Champion for The Care for Veterans Home in Worthing (link1 link2 link3 and more)and has raised a considerable sum of money to help those less fortunate. Vance continues to help fundraise in the local community and has given up his time to aid the homeless.
